TakeBrief by Limocon Tech
Terms of Service
Effective 7 August 2026
TakeBrief is an evidence-assisted creator review tool. Its automated output may be incomplete or wrong and is not certification, legal advice, brand approval, contract approval, or a guarantee of compliance.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of TakeBrief by Limocon Tech, including the Android app, cloud processing, subscriptions, support, and related web resources operated by Limocon Tech. By continuing after the consent screen, using TakeBrief, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TakeBrief.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use TakeBrief for a client, brand, employer, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. What TakeBrief does
TakeBrief lets you create a project, submit brief text or a supported PDF, review and edit a generated checklist, record a take with a checklist overlay, request post-capture analysis of supported requirements, review evidence, make creator decisions, and export a checklist report when available under your plan.
Supported checks may include exact spoken text, semantic talking points, visible on-screen text, and limited visual presence. Subjective quality, legal compliance, identity, authenticity, motion, timing, sequence, precise gestures, and other unsupported requirements require human review and may be marked Manual or Review.
4. Creator responsibility
You remain responsible for reading the original brief, confirming the checklist, reviewing every result and its evidence, obtaining brand or client approval, and deciding whether content is ready to deliver or publish. A Pass does not prove that a contract, advertising rule, disclosure law, brand instruction, or platform policy has been met.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in briefs, recordings, project data, and other content you submit. You grant Limocon Tech and its service providers a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve TakeBrief under the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights, notices, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit and analyze the content, including any personal information, people, voices, images, trademarks, scripts, or confidential material it contains.
6. Accounts and recovery
TakeBrief may begin with an anonymous account. An unlinked free account, projects, and free-use history may be unrecoverable after uninstalling, clearing app data, signing out, or losing the device. A verified email link is required before the first paid purchase so eligible account and entitlement access can be restored. You are responsible for device and email-account security.
7. Free access, subscriptions, and billing
TakeBrief may offer free usage and auto-renewing paid plans with the prices, billing period, limits, and included features shown at checkout. Google Play processes Android purchases, and RevenueCat helps TakeBrief recognize entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Unless the checkout states otherwise, a subscription renews until you cancel it through Google Play. Uninstalling TakeBrief, deleting app data, or deleting your TakeBrief account does not cancel the subscription. Refunds, payment failures, renewal, cancellation timing, and store billing are subject to Google Play terms and applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Submit content you do not have the right or permission to process.
- Use TakeBrief to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, contracts, or platform rules.
- Use the service to create harmful, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or illegal content.
- Upload malware or unsupported, executable, oversized, or intentionally harmful files.
- Bypass quotas, payment, authentication, access controls, or security testing limits.
- Probe another user's account or data, automate abusive access, resell the service, or interfere with operation.
- Present a TakeBrief report or result as official certification, legal proof, or brand acceptance.
9. Automated analysis and service limitations
Automated extraction, transcription, OCR, semantic analysis, and visual analysis can miss content, misread names or codes, misunderstand a requirement, or cite incomplete evidence. Sampled frames cannot prove every moment in a recording. Service availability and processing time may be affected by your device, network, Google Gemini, Supabase, Google Play, RevenueCat, hosting providers, or other dependencies.
10. Ownership
Limocon Tech owns TakeBrief, including its software, design, workflows, branding, documentation, and service, excluding your content, third-party materials, and open-source components. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use TakeBrief as intended.
11. Suspension, changes, and termination
We may protect, limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, platform requirements, service reliability, or a violation of these Terms. We may change or discontinue features, but will honor mandatory consumer rights and applicable app-store obligations. You may stop using TakeBrief and request account deletion at any time.
12. Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Policy explains data processing and retention. The account-deletion page provides an external request path. Deleting a TakeBrief account does not cancel a Google Play subscription or delete an original video stored separately on your device.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TakeBrief is provided “as is” and “as available.” Limocon Tech disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and successful brand, client, contract, legal, platform, or advertising compliance. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Limocon Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost revenue, profits, opportunity, goodwill, data, content, contracts, approvals, or business interruption arising from TakeBrief or reliance on its output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability relating to TakeBrief will not exceed the amount you paid for TakeBrief during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Before formal proceedings, contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to support@limocontech.com.
