TakeBrief by Limocon Tech
Delete account and data
Effective 7 August 2026
You can request deletion of your TakeBrief account and associated cloud data without reinstalling the app. Use the verified email pathway below, or delete in the app when that control is available in your installed build.
Request deletion by email
Email support@limocontech.com with the subject TakeBrief account and data deletion request.
Include your TakeBrief support ID if it is available in Settings. If you linked an email, send the request from that address. If neither is available, describe the device and approximate account-creation date so we can explain the minimum verification information needed. Do not send your password, OTP, full payment details, brief, transcript, frames, or video.
Delete in the app
If your installed TakeBrief build includes self-service deletion, open Settings, choose Delete account and data, review the warning, and confirm the request. If that control is not available in your build or you cannot access the app, use the email request above.
Verification
We verify that a deletion request relates to the correct account before acting. We will request only the minimum information reasonably needed. A request may require confirmation through the linked email or matching account or purchase information. We will not ask for a password, OTP, or full payment-card number.
What deletion removes
- The TakeBrief account and known active sessions.
- Linked email and TakeBrief authentication identity.
- Profile, consent, project, brief, checklist, requirement, take metadata, verification result, creator override, usage, and report metadata owned by the account.
- Any account-owned brief or analysis objects still present in private cloud storage.
- The TakeBrief subscription mirror and entitlement association stored by TakeBrief.
What is not deleted automatically
- An original video saved separately in Android MediaStore remains on your device until you delete it there.
- A Google Play subscription remains active until you cancel it through Google Play.
- Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase or transaction records under their own legal and platform obligations.
Limited records that may be retained
Security and deletion audit records may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion to document the request, prevent abuse, and protect the service. A record may be kept longer only when required by law, fraud prevention, security investigation, tax or billing obligations, or an active dispute. Retained records are limited to what is needed for that purpose and are not used to continue providing the deleted account.
Cancel a Google Play subscription
Account deletion and app uninstall do not stop recurring billing. Open Google Play, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select TakeBrief, and cancel. You can also open the official Google Play subscriptions page.
