How to check a suspicious message with ScamSift

  1. Choose what to check. Paste a suspicious text message, share selected text, or choose a screenshot of an email or conversation.
  2. Review and submit. Remove unnecessary sensitive details and choose whether to send the content for analysis.
  3. Understand the warning signs. Read a plain-language explanation of possible phishing, impersonation, or payment scam tactics.
  4. Verify before acting. Contact the organization independently or ask someone you trust before replying, paying, or sharing information.

A second opinion for parents, relatives, and your Circle

You do not need to be a technology expert to pause and check. ScamSift helps adult children, caregivers, parents, and retirees talk through suspicious messages without taking control away from the person receiving them.

Circle tools help you ask a trusted person for a second opinion. Family Shield plans let a Circle share a monthly scan allowance; see the subscription terms and limits. ScamSift cannot identify every scam or guarantee that a request is safe.

Questions about ScamSift and message safety

What is ScamSift?

ScamSift is an AI scam checker from Limocon Tech for suspicious messages and screenshots. It explains possible phishing, impersonation, and fraud warning signs in plain language and suggests what to verify before you act. It cannot guarantee that a message is safe.

How do I check whether a text message or email might be a scam?

Paste or type the message into ScamSift, share selected text from another app, or choose a screenshot. Review your selection and start the check. Read the explanation, then verify important claims through an official app, website, or phone number you find independently. Do not click a suspicious link just to test it.

Can ScamSift help me protect my parents or other loved ones from scams?

ScamSift is designed for families, including adult children helping parents, relatives, retirees, and people who are less confident with technology. Plain-language results and Circle tools help people ask someone they trust before acting. Each person chooses what to check; the app does not monitor a loved one's inbox.

Does ScamSift automatically read messages or block scam calls?

No. ScamSift checks only the text or screenshots you choose to submit. It does not automatically read your SMS or email inbox, provide caller ID, block calls, or stop payments. It is not an antivirus or an automatic spam blocker.

Is ScamSift available to download on Google Play?

ScamSift is being prepared for publication on Google Play. Public availability is pending Google Play approval and release. Existing invited testers can use the test-access links on the Limocon Tech Apps page. Those links are not a public production download.

What happens to the text or screenshots I submit?

Only content you choose to submit is sent for Google Gemini analysis through ScamSift's service. Review the Privacy Policy for processing and retention details. Never submit passwords, verification codes, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Read the ScamSift Privacy Policy or contact product support for more detail.
