Support

If you may be being scammed now

Stop. Do not send money, share a code, click a link, install an app, or give someone remote access to your device. Contact your bank or the claimed organisation using its official app, the number on your card or statement, or a number you independently look up. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Stay safe from impersonation

What if a bank, payment app, telecom company, courier, or government agency calls me?

Scammers can impersonate trusted organisations. Caller ID, a familiar name, or urgency are not proof that a caller is genuine. Hang up and verify the request using the organisation’s official app, a number on your card or statement, or a number you independently look up.

What details should I never share by phone?

Never share a one-time password (OTP), PIN, password, verification code, recovery phrase, bank or card details, or remote access to your device. Do not move money to “protect” it because a caller told you to.

What if someone claims to be ScamSift?

ScamSift does not provide phone support. We will never call, or send an unsolicited message, asking for a code, password, banking detail, recovery phrase, or remote access. End the contact and use only support@limocontech.com or another channel you independently verify.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use ScamSift without an account?

You can start with the welcome allowance on an installation. A verified account is required for purchases, restoring purchases, creating or managing a Circle, and redeeming a Circle invitation.

How do I sign in?

ScamSift supports email magic-link sign-in and Google sign-in. Apple Sign In is not available in version 1.0.

Can I restore a purchase after signing out or changing devices?

Yes. Sign in with the same ScamSift account used for the purchase, then use the app’s restore-purchase option. Store billing and availability rules still apply.

What is a Circle?

A Circle lets an eligible subscriber invite the number of people included in that plan. Circle members use the subscriber’s shared monthly check pool. Inviting, sharing, or removing a member always requires an explicit action by the subscriber.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by the store used for purchase. Deleting the app or deleting service data does not cancel billing.

How do I delete my account and service data?

Use the in-app deletion option or follow the instructions on the Account deletion page. Account deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription.

What if an output is wrong?

Use the in-app report control on the result. ScamSift is a second opinion, not a guarantee; always independently verify before acting.

How do I replay the walkthrough?

Open Settings → Show interactive walkthrough. Use Next and Back to explore the highlighted Scan controls, or Skip walkthrough to leave at any time. Help, FAQ, and accessibility is also available in Settings.

Are Safety Alerts automatic scam detection?

No. Where available in your app version, Safety Alerts are optional, source-linked educational updates selected by Limocon Tech. They do not monitor your inbox. Open Scam safety alerts to choose Global, United States or Europe, and to turn notifications on or off. See the Privacy Policy before opting in.

What can I share with the community?

Where Community Signals are available, share only a pattern, channel and broad region. Do not submit private messages or personal details. Installation-linked reports are moderated and shown only as combined totals after at least five matching reports are approved.

How do I use larger text or spoken controls?

ScamSift follows Android font-size and display-size settings and labels its controls for TalkBack and Voice Access. Use your device Accessibility settings to enable these options. These are Android accessibility tools; ScamSift does not operate its own microphone-based voice-command feature.

See the Privacy Policy for what ScamSift can access and how a check is processed. Read the Terms and Conditions for service limits and subscription terms.
