Privacy Notice
Effective 3 November 2026
This notice explains how the RiceFarm AI Android app and its support pages handle information. Limocon Tech does not sell personal information or use farm records for advertising.
1. Scope
This notice applies to RiceFarm AI accounts, irrigated and upland rice-farm records, leaf-color scanning, weather-aware guidance, advertising, subscriptions, and product support. It does not apply to third-party services you use separately.
2. Data and purposes

The photo is imported into the encrypted app-private device vault and associated with its rice crop log; it is never uploaded automatically. You decide whether to save or use the estimate, and an optional physical-chart reading can override it. |
| Receipt and crop-log photos | Fertilizer and crop-protection receipts can be processed with on-device text extraction, and crop-log photos can be attached to rice observations. These photos are stored in the encrypted app-private device vault and are not uploaded automatically. |
| Location and weather | With permission, rounded foreground location or an approved-field centroid is sent through the RiceFarm AI server to WeatherAPI.com for a requested forecast. The forecast can pass, caution, or defer application timing; it never changes the entered nitrogen dose or performs an application. RiceFarm AI does not use background location tracking. |
| Map and terrain context | When requested, Mapbox receives map or tile requests for the visible or explicitly downloaded extent. RiceFarm AI does not send account, farm, field, crop, input, precise-location, photo, prompt, result, or subscription data as custom ad-targeting information. Trials and paid plans are ad-free. |

Supplier accounts, catalogs, subscriptions, document uploads, OPSWAT scanning, and Google Cloud Document AI supplier extraction are planned for a separate version 2.0.0 release. The version 1.0 app does not collect or send supplier documents to those providers.
3. Leaf-color and fertilizer guidance
A scan produces a six-band 1–6 estimate, not a laboratory measurement. Physical Leaf Color Chart confirmation is optional, and a field-scout reading can override the photo estimate. A fertilizer product-quantity calculation still requires a current locally approved LCC threshold and nitrogen target, verified fertilizer-label nitrogen percentage, field area, crop stage, recent nitrogen history, and an authorized-user decision. A rainfall forecast affects timing only; it never changes the entered nitrogen dose or performs an application. We do not use leaf photos or farm records to train a general-purpose AI model.
4. Providers and disclosure
We disclose only the information needed to providers that help operate an enabled feature:
- Supabase for authentication, hosted application records, private storage, and server functions;
- Google for identity, Google Play billing, optional advertising and consent, and optional Firebase push delivery;
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement processing;
- Mapbox, WeatherAPI.com, and OpenTopography for explicitly requested map, forecast, and terrain functions;
- Expo Push Service for optional notification delivery; and
- Vercel for these public product and policy pages.
A provider may process technical data under its own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. A feature that lacks an approved production provider, current source, or required safety evidence remains unavailable rather than using a temporary provider or unverified result.
5. Retention and deletion
Account and private synchronized records are kept while the account is active. A verified request revokes access promptly and completes after a 30-day recovery period. Sole-owner farm workspaces are deleted; shared workspaces transfer to another active member so one account cannot erase collaborators' records. The departing member's access is removed and retained collaboration lineage is de-identified. Encrypted exports expire after seven days, and hosted daily backups are expected to age out within seven days after server-side deletion. We may keep only the minimum record required for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, safety-audit, or legal-claim purposes. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet those obligations.
Use the in-app deletion control or the account-deletion page to start a request. Device-vault photos are not stored in Limocon Tech cloud storage; remove device-only copies by clearing the app's device data or uninstalling the app after preserving anything you need. Removing the app from a device does not by itself delete an online account.
6. Permissions and choices
- Deny camera or photo access and enter an observation manually.
- Deny location access and select or enter a location where the app supports it.
- Decline a physical LCC confirmation; it is never mandatory.
- Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through Google Play.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support.
7. Security, children, and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encryption in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security. RiceFarm AI is intended for adult farm managers and is not directed to children. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
8. Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this notice changes and provide additional notice when required. Email privacy or support questions to support@limocontech.com. Do not send passwords, government identifiers, or payment-card details.
